Question:
“What is the mission of The Crossroads Companies?”
Dr. Jacoby:
“We offer various services to individuals across several sites. We have many mental health workers who interact with our patients and try to understand what it is that has driven them to whatever state of distress that has been significant enough that they have come to our attention. Our team is always trying to offer them relief by understanding and perhaps rechanneling some of their coping strategies, and we are necessary for medication management as well; that is what we do, but that is what the word of psychiatry does.”
