Greenbranch Recovery, in proud collaboration with Behavioral Crossroads, recently participated in a highly impactful VA Health and Resource Fair hosted on our shared campus in Egg Harbor Township. This event brought together community partners, veterans, and first responders to connect with essential services that support mental health and addiction recovery.
Strengthening Support for Veterans and First Responders
Greenbranch Recovery remains dedicated to providing individualized care for those affected by addiction and mental health challenges, including veterans and first responders. Our trauma-informed treatment programs offer compassionate support through evidence-based practices, including medication-assisted treatment and psychotherapy.
Behavioral Crossroads, our sister facility, also focuses on the unique needs of veterans, offering tailored support for those living with PTSD, substance use disorders, and other co-occurring conditions. Together, we strive to foster healing and hope across our communities.
Community Partners and Resource Providers
We are grateful to the many vendors and organizations that joined us in support of this important cause. Their participation made it possible to share a wide range of resources with our local veteran population. Some of the valued participants included:
- NJ Courts
- Soldier On
- Atlantic County Addiction Services/Public Health
- Veterans Administration (VA)
- Stockton University
- JFS
- VOA
- Hope Exists
- Genoa Pharmacy
- CLEAResult with Atlantic City Electric
- NJ Department of Labor
- EHC America
- Bridging the Gap
- Vet Center
It was a powerful day of collaboration, connection, and shared commitment to service.
Honoring Leadership and Service
We were privileged to host two distinguished speakers: the Honorable Judge Bernard E. DeLury, Jr. and law enforcement veteran Matt Hartman. Judge DeLury, with decades of service in both the judiciary and the military, delivered a compelling message rooted in justice and dedication. Matt Hartman, a decorated veteran and public safety expert, shared insights from his years of leadership in law enforcement and his role in shaping First Branch, a vital support initiative for military personnel and first responders.
Celebrating Community Commitment
A highlight of the day was presenting our first Community Service Award to Reynold Theriault, a respected Marine Corps veteran and retired law enforcement professional. With more than 30 years of service, Theriault has championed initiatives for veterans, supported nonprofit efforts, and helped co-found First Branch. His dedication exemplifies the community-focused mission that both Greenbranch Recovery and Behavioral Crossroads uphold every day.
