Lori McCline

Lori McCline is Regional Clinical Director overseeing the Greenbranch Substance Use Disorder (SUD) program. Lori has been with Behavioral Crossroads Recovery since 2013 and has been instrumental in its continued growth and strategic evolvement. She received her B.A. in Management in 2011 and went on to obtain her Master’s degree in Addiction Counseling in 2013 from Grand Canyon University.

Valerie Stone, LMT

Valerie is an experienced licensed massage therapist specializing therapeutic massage. Her passion is helping others to help themselves is her passion. Valerie believes in the holistic approach, providing therapeutic massage treatments, self-help tools/tips and comprehensive Wellness education. She is a graduate of the Omega Institute for basic massage and other specialized modalities. As a Trauma Competent Professional trained by Lakeside Global, Valerie’s focus is helping individuals impacted by trauma discover their own journey towards recovery, healing, and hope.

Stan has an undergraduate degree in Biology from LaSalle University. He worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 13 years. He then completed a Master’s degree in Divinity and worked as a priest in an active ministry for more than 20 years. In 2008, he began his career in counseling with an emphasis on Drug and Alcohol Addiction. At the age of 75, he continues to be amazed by people who have woven themselves in the fabric of his life, holding it together, and giving him hope in the human condition.

Leslie Sanders

Leslie Sanders is the Program Director at Greenbranch Recovery. She is an LCADC with a master’s in addiction counseling from Grand Canyon University. She also oversees our lab for all Pro Recovery locations.

Samuel Lagroteria

Sam has served the state of NJ in the parole board and as a probation officer for over 25 years. He started his career as a counselor for the Atlantic County Department of Corrections then worked in Probation for three years. After that he worked for the NJ State Parole Board for 21 years. After retiring from Parole in April 2023, he immediately went back to work for the Egg Harbor Township school system and NJ State Probation writing reports for the courts.

Sam now counsels First Responders who have experienced trauma in the field and behind the scenes. He has a degree in social work from Stockton University and is continuing his education in the social service field by obtaining the Certified Drug Alcohol Counseling (CADC) certification.

Lynn

Lynn Recchuiti has dedicated her career to helping others build strength, resilience, and balance—both physically and mentally. She began her professional journey as a college athlete and fitness expert, spending over 30 years as a Certified Personal Trainer, Group Exercise Instructor, and Wellness Coach.

At 21, Lynn entered law enforcement, initially serving as a police officer before becoming a detective and later an instructor at the police academy. She spent much of her law enforcement career in the narcotics unit, working in an undercover capacity. After becoming a mother, she transitioned into education as a public school teacher in New Jersey. Lynn eventually returned to law enforcement education and concluded her career as Chief Instructor and Curriculum Specialist at the Atlantic County Police Academy, where she was also certified as a Master Resiliency Trainer by the State of New Jersey.

Today, Lynn is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Intern (CADC-I), working toward her Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) credential. She is also pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Rutgers University, with the goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Lynn is passionate about helping individuals strengthen their recovery through resilience, movement, and practical tools for lasting change. She believes in a team-centered approach where everyone works together toward a common goal and values the genuine care and community at Greenbranch Recovery and Wellness. Her diverse career reflects a lifelong commitment to service, education, and the empowerment of others.

Leo Newberry CCE, CPRS

Leo Newberry

Leo is certified in Color Energy / Chromotherapy (CCE); he utilizes color psychology and somatic awareness to support emotional regulation and self-expression. He is also a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) with experience supporting individuals in early and sustained recovery. Leo has spent 24 years as a professional tattoo artist, specializing in visual storytelling and symbolism, with extensive experience in intentional, trauma-informed, and client-centered art processes. He has spent 6 years in personal recovery, bringing lived experience, empathy, and peer-informed practice into therapeutic spaces.

Peter Burns

Peter Burns has over 26 years of experience in emergency services and 19 years in law enforcement.

He is a detective with the Somers Point Police Department and has previous experience as a detective with the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office. He is a Resiliency Instructor and instructs sections of the Atlantic County Police Resiliency Training. He is also a certified Fire Instructor Level 1 and instructs firefighters in an hands-on and classroom environment.

Peter has worked as a Behavioral Assist, implementing behavioral strategies with youth and families. He has worked in in-community and in-home settings with at-risk youth and their families referred for services by State agencies.

He has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Stockton University and has received several merit and distinguished service awards from the Hamilton Township Police Department, the Somers Point Police Department, and Boy Scouts of America.

Laurel has been a human resources executive, manager, and generalist for over a decade. She has a Master’s degree in Human Resource Training and Development and experience in various healthcare specialties, including Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery, Mental Health Treatment, Partial Care, Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Residential and Vocational Training Programs, and Gastroenterology. Laurel loves living near the shore, and in her free time enjoys swimming, the beach, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.

Eric Nilson is our First Responder and Veterans Affairs (VA) Specialist on the Greenbranch team. Eric retired after 25 years of service at the Atlantic County Justice facility ending his career as a Lieutenant (Shift Commander). He has been working with Bluestone Services USA as a Consultant and has been directly involved with the First Responder population at Greenbranch for our trauma informed “Firstbranch” track. On his days off, Eric likes the beach, hiking, golf and travelling. He enjoys meeting new people and trying out new activities.
